It has been my pleasure working with Johnny for the last 9 years. I am also blessed that I got to spend a short amount of time with him the Monday before his passing. I always admired his calmness and get it done work ethics. Also we always had a good time talking about College Football. The comforting thing is that I don't believe this is goodbye but more of a "See You Later". But we will miss him till then.

John was truly one of a kind. An old school soul who told it like it was. One of the most honest people who walked the earth, and one of my dearest friends. I will continue to think of him daily, and cherish the many memories. I know of no harsh words spoken of him. Everybody liked Johnson.....he was that good of a man. He is tremendously missed by all who knew him. We'll see him in the bye and bye, our friend who was so true. And when we meet, we'll have a seat, and we'll drink a few.

We lost a good man in John. Big heart and good demeanor. Quite a character as I remember from hunting camp. I still remember being on the lease and hearing that vehicle of his roaring around somewhere. He was proud of that thing but you would freeze to death riding in it. I always considered John a good friend and bought a small trailer from him I used for dog box for $200 . Pretty sure he lost money on that one but that was just how John operated. Sympathy to his wife and family. I will miss him.
