GRANBURY — Linda Griffin, 70, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, in Fort Worth.
Memorial service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Wiley Funeral Home.
Linda was born Feb. 9, 1942, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Spencer Pickney Dewoody and Ora Izora Wilton Dewoody. She married Nikki Lynn Griffin, Aug. 16, 1958, in Grandfield, Okla. Linda was raised in Wichita Falls, moved to Ruidoso, N.M. for 13 years and then to Hobbs, N.M. where she lived for 20 years. She retired and moved to Granbury as a homemaker for 3 years. She loved to travel with her husband through his job.
Survivors: Husband, Nikki Griffin; sons, David Allan Griffin and wife, Lori Ann and their children, Hayley and Garrett, Gregg Randel Griffin and wife, Lavonne, and their children, Clay, Casey, and Haley Marie; 2 great grandchildren; mother, Ora Dewoody; sister, Terri McCreary; one niece and one nephew.
