Lisa Michelle Clay-McPherson, Age 49, passed away Sunday October 4, 2020. She was born on April 30, 1971 in Canyon, Texas; the daughter to Jo Anne and Al Clay.
Lisa always reached for higher goals and dreams. Lisa graduated from Granbury High School in 1989. She went onto graduate with a double major of Finance and Criminal Justice at Stephen F. Austin State University.
She was a model for Guess; A Paralegal for attorneys in Dallas for years; and did payroll in Afghanistan and Iraq.
She often kept up with friends she made in school and life. She was a Christian and shared her love of the Lord with everyone. Lisa also helped pass a bill concerning spousal abuse. This law made it possible to charge murder if death occurred to a spouse from abuse.
Lisa recently realized her dream of moving to Hawaii. She was ready to begin her life anew with great joy.
Lisa is survived by her parents: Al and Jo Anne Clay; children: Maelyn McPherson, 12 years old and Braedon McPherson, 11 years old; both from Colorado.
