Marcus Hart

GRANBURY — Marcus “Mike” Hart, 75, passed away Monday, Feb. 10, 2014, in Glen Rose.
Visitation: 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at Wiley Funeral Home (400 Hwy 377 East, Granbury, TX 76048). Funeral: 3:00 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial: 10:15 a.m. Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Mike was born Jan. 20, 1939, in McComb, MS, to John Homer Hart and Vera Mae Fuller Hart. He married Diana Jordan, Aug. 27, 1960, in Florien, LA. He was a 1957 graduate of Baton Rouge High School and afterward served in the U.S. Air Force. He later graduated from Louisiana State University in 1966 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Mike retired from General Electric Corporation. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #263 in Florien, LA, Scottish Rite Valley of Dallas and Moslah Shrine of Fort Worth . Mike was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Raymond Hart, and sister, Doris Owens.
Survivors: Wife, Diana Hart of Granbury; sons, Marc Hart of Granbury, Matthew Rhett Hart and wife, Tricia, of Dallas; grandson, Colton Hart; granddaughter, Julienne Hart; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
