Maria Wyatt

Maria Wyatt passed away at Trinity Nursing and Rehab Center in Granbury Texas on May 18, 2020, at the age of 79. Maria is preceded in death by her husband Eldrege J Wyatt, her father, Maarten Van Dyk, and her mother, Jacomyntje Van Dyk.
Maria is lovingly remembered by her children, daughter Elizabeth (Richard) McIntyre of Brownsburg, Indiana, daughter Katherine Hass of Indianapolis, Indiana, and son William Hass of Slaton, Texas. Three grandchildren Alex McIntyre of Indianapolis, Indiana, Alexa Hass of Mooresville, Indiana, and Bennett McIntyre of Brownsburg, Indiana. Maria recently became a great grandmother to Colter Durham of Mooresville Indiana. Maria has one sister, Conny (Nick) Nichols of Pennsylvania, 2 nieces, Jocelyn and Jennifer both of Pennsylvania, and one nephew, Mardi, of Tennessee. She will be sorely missed by her sister Conny.
Maria was born in The Netherlands on March 13, 1941 to Maarten and Jacomyntje Van Dyk. Her start in life was different from most, as she was born in a bomb shelter during WWII. The stories she told us of those days are surreal. Growing up, she loved to ice skate on the canals. Maria loved to travel, and has traveled across Europe many times.
