TOLAR — Mary Ellen “Susie” Tunal Taylor, 87, passed away Monday, June 2, 2014 in Granbury.
Graveside service: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 5, 2014, at the Holly Hills Mausoleum Chapel in Granbury. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the Mausoleum Chapel.
Susie was born July 28, 1926, in Fort Worth, to Arthur and Clara Traxler Tunal. She graduated North Side High School 1943 and retired from Montgomery Wards in 1989. Susie was a member of the Tolar Baptist Church, former member of First Baptist Church of White Settlement for 39 years before moving to Tolar.
Preceded in death by mother, Clara M Emmons, father, Arthur Newton Tunal, brother, Arthur Newton Tunal Jr. and husband Marvin James Taylor.
Survivors: Daughter Elaine L. Gray & husband Jody; grandchildren, Porchia Gilbreath & husband Richard, Chandon Gray & wife Leslie, Jamie Gray & wife Tishia; great grandchildren: Charles Gilbreath, Patrick Gilbreath, Cheylee Lucas, Cutter Gray, Taylor Marrs, Riley White & Peyton White.
