Michael Angelo Rodriguez, 58, of Mansfield, Texas was called home by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020. He was born in Riverside, California on March 8, 1962 to Homero Joel Rodriguez and Celia Candelaria Limas Rodriguez.
Mike was remarkable in so many ways. He lived his life to the fullest and touched so many people during his time here with us. First and foremost, he loved his family profoundly. Michael was a devoted son, father, uncle, brother and friend. Looking back, he was always a family man.
Mike was a comfort for our mom Celia, sister Patt, brother David, and to his nephews Adam and Gabriel and of course his daughter Brescia and son Sejin. He was a very respectful and caring brother. Mike took all the roles in his life to heart and he strove to honor, support, and guide and most importantly, protect his family. He was at his happiest when he was surrounded by his family; even during those inevitable tough times that life has a way of throwing at you. His devotion to his family was the foundation of his actions; the anchor that defined and shaped his life. What an Amazing Dad.
Mike enjoyed going to concerts and music was a special passion. He was a master at making Brisket and was a great photographer. He will always be remembered for his “Happy Go Lucky” attitude.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Master Sergeant Homer Joel Rodriguez and loving son, Sejin Sebastian Rodriguez.
Michael is survived by his daughter, Brescia Brazil Rodriguez, grandson, Killian Reign Christie, son-in-law, Brett Allen Christie, mother, Celia Rodriguez, sister, Patt Ottero, brother, Homer Dave Rodriguez all of Mansfield, Texas, brothers, Larry Rodriguez and wife Angelita of Granbury, Texas and Garry Dan Rodriguez, son-in-law, Alan Benest of Dallas, Texas, and two nephews, Adam Anthony Rodriguez and Gabriel Joel Rodriguez.
