Yolanda Swartz was born September 7, 1948 and passed away January 29, 2021. Five days later, the family mourned the loss of their father, grandfather and brother, Michael Swartz, who was born on March 1, 1949 and passed away on February 3, 2021

 

Michael Wilson Swartz was preceded in death by his Father, John Swartz; his Mother, Alice Swartz and his brother, Bob Swartz.

 

Yolanda Swartz was preceded in death by her Father, Robert Silva.

 

Michael is Survived by his Sons, David and Dennis Swartz and his brother, John Swartz Jr.

 

Yolanda Swartz is survived by her Mother, Lucy Silva; her Sisters; Gracie Owens and husband, Michael; Becky Silva and Cecila Robertson and husband, Tim.

 

Michael and Yolanda had 4 beautiful granddaughters; Julia Mckenzie Cashion, Selena Marie Swartz, Reina Lynn Swartz and Cierra Denise Swartz.  Michael and Yolanda were married in 1970.  Yolanda flourished in the field of nursing for 50 years, from critical care to pediatrics to cancer case management.  Yolanda touched many lives with a caring heart.  She retired from Silverback in 2019.  Michael served his country proudly in the United States Airforce from 1968 to 1972 as an Inventory Foreman Sargent.  Michael worked for Chrysler, Klosterman’s bakery.  He was a life insurance salesman for American National and Mutual of Omaha and a dispatcher for Standard Parking at DFW Airport.  Michael and Yolanda were married for 50 glorious years they filled our lives with so much love and joy.  They will sadly be missed by family, friends and countless nieces and nephews.
