Muriel Arline Tatro Jenson, 94, of Granbury passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2021, Service: 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 11, 2021, Holly Hills Memorial Park, Visitation: 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 11, 2021, Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury.

Muriel was born on November 2, 1926 in West Warwick, Rhode Island to Eugene and Mary Tatro. She met her future husband, Lloyd, during WWII. They married in West Warwick on February 3, 1945 and settled in Granbury in 1961. She was a waitress at Rankins Restaurant for many years and eventually owned operated the restaurant in the 1970s and early 1980s.

Muriel enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and arts and crafts. She was an active member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. She enjoyed the Western culture, especially country music but never lost her New England accent. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Lloyd Jenson.

Muriel is survived by her children: Linda Jenson, Janice Deenihan and husband Patrick, and Tom Jenson, Jr. and wife Laura, granddaughter: Sarah Jenson, and two beloved cats: Gus and Spot.
