Patti was such a firecracker. She made a difference in the lives of many children. She taught us many Patti-isms, like..”don’t follow me, I’m not a parade.” We had many great times together, mostly at after school “book clubs.” We endured stress together as 2nd grade teachers over new curriculums and expectations. We took turns crying in each others classrooms during our breaks or after school due to this stress. Most of all we cared deeply for one another. Our little group was tight and we will feel the void of Patti’s incredibly sarcastic, entertaining bright light. It’s not goodbye friend, it’s “See you later!”

My heart goes out to her family. She was an amazing woman and teacher. She was always willing to help kids in anyway she could. She will be missed by so many people. She touched so many people. She is flying high and watching over her family and friends.

My heart is broken with the loss of Patti. We were best best friends for 50yrs. We were closer than most blood related siblings. She loved her family and friends so deeply. I am so blessed to have been a recipient of that love and friendship. I will miss her every day til we meet again.

Patti was an unlikely friend that came into my life ...thank our good Lord she did.....I will forever treasure our years teaching together. .and the friendship that naturally blossomed from that....She was my Rock! I loved her sarcasm, wit, and her undying love for her students, children, grandchikdren, and siblings...I will miss you my friend..until we meet again ❤
