Robert was born on April 11, 1957 in Hamilton, Texas to Charles and Murl Elkins. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone in need. He was baptized at StoneWater Church. Robert loved music, singing, and performing and attending karaoke. He loved cooking and BBQing.
Robert was currently employed at Halliburton and formerly employed with Granbury ISD and Comanche Peak. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son: John Elkins, one brother and one sister.
Robert is survived by his children: Chance Elkins and wife Brittany and Micah Elkins and husband Jonathan Eakin, brother: Billy Elkins and wife Ann, 10 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, family, friends, and fiancée Theresa Keith.
