Robert Glen Anderson

Robert Glen Anderson, 81, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 25, 2014.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Saginaw United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Aurora Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Biggers Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in Saginaw, 209 S. Bluebonnet St., Saginaw, Texas 76179.

Bobby was born on November 28, 1933, in Decatur to Reece and Mamie Ruth Anderson. He graduated from North Side High School in Fort Worth in 1950 and married Alice Reese on May 29, 1952. They enjoyed RVing, especially their trips to Colorado with the grandkids. He was also a Scout leader for Boy Scout Troop 151 for many years. Bobby worked at Bell Helicopter in Manufacturing Engineering and Producibilty. He retired in 1995 after 35 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Saginaw.

Bobby is survived by Alice, his wife of 62 years; also by his sons, Gary and his wife, Donna, of Fort Worth and Andy and his wife, Liz, of Boerne; grandchildren, Meg Arbour and her husband, Ben, of Fort Worth, Andrew Anderson and his wife, Summer, of Westminster, Colorado, Mindy Young of Brock and Kim Nevermann and her husband, Barry, of Houston; and great-grandchildren, Wesley, Abby, Micah and Noah Arbour, Reese and Nixon Anderson, and Cade Nevermann.
