Sandra Inbody

Sandie Inbody, 75, of Tolar, TX, passed away at 3:50 p.m., Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, in Granbury, TX.

Sandie was born May 19, 1942, in Elkhart, IN to Jack and Marge Lewis Adams. In 2004 Sandie completed a lifelong dream by becoming a flight attendant. She flew for America Eagle until her retirement in 2011.

She is survived by her husband, Jon Inbody (Tolar); one sister, Marci Ullery (South Bend, IN); one son, Jeff Ballard (Trabuco Canyon, CA); two daughters, Michele Valenta (Des Plaines, IL), and Rene Ries (Candler, NC); two sons-in- law, James Valenta and Thomas Ries Sr; one daughter- in- law Vicki Ballard, three grandsons, Jordan Ballard, Thomas Ries Jr., Matthew Valenta; four granddaughters, Jessica and Becca Valenta, Brittany Ballard, and Sarah Ries; and one great-grandchild, Ryley Jones.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Marge and Jack Adams (Elkhart, IN); and her first husband, Thomas Ballard (Hendersonville, NC).

The memorial service to celebrate Sandie’s life will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 16, at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Granbury, TX, Stephen Haverlah will officiate.
