Scott was born on May 28, 1934 in Granbury, Texas to Fernoy and Sallie Parkinson. He retired from Brazos Electric in 1998 after 37 years. He enjoyed working on his farm in Tolar and spending time with his family.
Scott was preceded in death by his daughter: Ceilee Parkinson, parents: Fernoy and Sallie Parkinson, granddaughter: Danna Grisso, and sister: Sara Jo Carr.
Scott is survived by his sons: John Parkinson, and Nick Parkinson and wife Pamela, daughter: Wesa Parkinson, grandchildren; Jordan Parkinson, Carson Hickman, Chris Parkinson, and Kathryn Hickman, great-grandchildren: Ayden Parkinson, Ethan Parkinson, Maizee Ball and Ricky Cowley, brother: R.F. Parkinson, and a host of other family and friends.
