Shirley Nelle Nix passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023.

Shirley was born on November 16, 1939 in Pampa, Texas to Dena Mae and Sam Oates and granddaughter of beloved Nelle and Bo Brinton.

She was preceded in death by her husband Carroll of 58 years.

Survived by her son Jeff & wife Mary of Ponte Verda, Florida, daughter, Erica and husband Joey Jenkins of Tolar, and daughter Monti and husband Daniel Woolley of North Richland Hills, Texas; and 9 grandchildren.

Services:  The family honored Shirley’s wishes to be cremated and there will be no public services.

Memorials: Family and friends wishing to remember Shirley in a way that would be very special to her are invited to make a donation to Special Olympics.
