Terry Wayne Robason, 60, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2017 in Granbury, Texas after a hard and bravely fought battle with COPD. He was born May 30, 1956 in Dallas, Texas to Thomas Emery Robason and Raetta Bryant.
Terry began working various jobs as a young teenager and then started his own construction company, Robason Construction Staking & Co, in 1983. He worked on countless projects in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex throughout the decades of major growth in the area. He earned a reputation for his intelligence, diligence and conscientious effort in pursuing success on each project. After moving to Granbury in 1995, he continued to work in DFW and also completed several projects locally. He took great pride in his career.
He enjoyed spending his leisure time in the company of his family and friends. He had a love for music and was a self-taught drummer. He savored time spent sharing a good meal, especially when he cooked barbeque on the grill and having a picnic under the trees. He was fascinated with learning history and sharing his knowledge with others. He was entertained by a good Dallas Cowboy’s football game, a fun concert and the energy at casinos. He had a broad range of interests and hobbies.
Passionate, determined and often headstrong, Terry was a source of encouragement and wisdom for his loved ones and always gave help to those in need who crossed his path. He loved his children deeply and the time spent with his grandchildren in the last years of his life brought him great joy. He will be dearly missed and forever loved.
