Winifred Ruth Sheely, 85, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017.

 

Graveside Service: 1 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2017 at Forest Park East Cemetery, in League City, Texas.

 

Visitation: 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, November 5, 2017, at Biggers Funeral Home.

 

Winifred Ruth Penry was born February 16, 1932 in Houston. She married Eugene Danny Sheely on June 5, 1950 in Galveston. He preceded her in death on December 28, 1996. Others who have preceded her were her mother, Belle Litzenberg, father, John D. Penry, and a brother, Johnny Penry.

 

Survivors: Daughters, Tonia Wooldridge and Debbie Lane; sister, Sylvia Hunter; brother, Bobby Penry; grandchildren, Julie Zamarripa, Danny Wooldridge, and Amy DeLano; great-granddchildren, Cristian and Daniel Zamarripa, Adan and Kira DeLano, Gabe and Alexis Wooldridge; nieces and nephews, Tamara Syers, Danae Carlisle, Karen Crystal, and Ray and Greg Sheely.

In memory of my dear beloved Aunt Winnie. I am glad I have been able to spend a few good Christmas’s With you and Uncle Gene, cousin Debbie and the rest of the family. You will be missed very much but never forgotten. You will be now with your husband Uncle Gene , my parents, nanny and Grammy, my sister Sandy and my beloved husband Larry. You will be in a place where there is no violence and only Love and Peace. I love you Aunt Winnie and as I said before you will never be forgotten.
