I am sorry to hear of Erma's passing, I loved her if she was my own Grandmother there were times I would come over with Adam, and she would welcome me with that beautiful smile I know that ya'll will miss her, I will too. Adam I would have been there if i could.

I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Ermas passing. I think she was the oldest Haley 1st cousin to my grandfather Owen Haley from Eudora. I fondly remember her coming to Haley family reunions and how spunky she always was. I am Charlottes daughter of Owen and Polly Haley.

I will never forget how she would get up at the family reunions and do the "jitter bug" dance. She was so full of life! She was my great great aunt! Sure will miss you aunt erma!
Mark Murry left a message on March 24, 2017:
Great Aunt Erma was one of the kindest persons I've ever met. I am a grandson of James Bowie Haley, Jr. and son off Jerry Ann Haley. I met Erma and Lester at the Haley family reunion years ago and remained in contact with her until she wasn't able to talk on the phone or read letters anymore. I loved her dearly and am saddened of her passing. We may have lost a wonderful person here but heaven has gained an angel. I express my deepest sympathy to her family and friends. She was a wonderful person and I know we will see her again someday. I am sure she is showing other angels how to do the jitterbug right now!

Erma was a wonderful Christian friend that we loved dearly. She was a joy to be around and always kept you laughing at witty things she said. We rejoice with her at her home going and pray for you family.
