Albert Barker

June 29, 1924 - February 7, 2013

WEATHERFORD — Albert Jurden Barker, 88, passed away Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, in Weatherford.
Graveside service: 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Nacona City Cemetery in Nacona, Texas. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Wiley Funeral Home.
Mr. Barker was born June 29, 1924, in Wynnewood, Okla., to Valton Richard “Rabb” Barker and Emmy Coyle Barker. He served in the U.S. Navy and worked as a diesel mechanic. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion Post 491 and he volunteered for many years with the Veteran’s Administration.
Survivors: Friend, Maxine Fiedler of Weatherford; brother, Donald Barker of Irving; cousins, other relatives and many friends.
