Alene was born on May 11, 1936 in Dublin, Texas to Ferrol and Lena Keeter. She married her husband, Trumon Yant on October 9, 1961 in Antlers, Oklahoma. She loved her family dearly and she enjoyed going to Garcia’s with them and going to Grump’s with her twin brother: “Dick”. She loved babies, Facebook, and her favorite cat “Ba-by Girl”.
Alene was very active and she attended Triple Cross Cowboy Church. She would often reply when posed with a question “Only God Knows”.
Alene is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Trumon Yant, daughters: Vicki Shipman and her husband Todd, and Leann Brockman and her husband Neal, grandsons: Colten Bison, David Brockman, and Brayden Brockman, twin brother: “Dick” Keeter, and brother: Nolan Keeter.
