Alfred was a very outgoing person he was fun to be around . He let me drive his truck one year . We went fishing and camping just like this last time before we left to go to Ohio we sat and talked .I really miss having him on my life to talk to he was my father in law I will always cherish the times we spent together

Me and Uncle Alfred went camping on the river at the Dennis bridge. We took dads flat bottom boat and once we got in the boat we were just letting it drift. We didn’t realize the current was flowing as fast as it was. One of us spilled part of our bags of chips, and uncle Alfred picked up the spilled chips and threw them overboard into the water. That’s when we could see how fast the water was running. We both started paddling to get back toward our campsite but the current was too strong, so we were paddling like crazy and staying in one spot. We got the boat close to the bank and Uncle Alfred got out and we pulled the boat up the river to our campsite. We had a lot of laughs that night and many other nights talking about that night.
