I’ve cherished the many childhood memories of family Sundays at Granny & Papaws, the food, family & fun. Granny making my school clothes. I wanted a pair of bell bottoms & was told no so Granny took a pair of my jeans & added material I had the biggest bells & was so proud of them she did this knowing it would cause issues I’ll never forget her saying you let granny worry about that! Also when I was picked to be lead in a school play but had to have a grass skirt, I just remember how broken hearted I was when I could not get 1 but Granny & Aunt Nita at last minute made 1 out of yarn & elastic at the time I was embarrassed now thinking back remembering how they were rushing & running so I would at least be able to perform what I had worked so hard at what a special thing they did for me. The BiCentennial shirts she made all of us kids. How she always made sure I had something to eat when she fixed venison & would sneak it to me so I wouldn’t go hungry. I called her my Gypsy Granny because if I didn’t call her at least twice a month she would be somewhere else. Heaven received another angel & as much as I will miss her & our phone calls I know she was met with open arms from all our loved ones & she is no longer in pain. I was truly blessed to have you in my life. Until we meet again Granny “Fly High”
