Alice Gertrude Whitfield, 93, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014 at a nursing home in Weatherford, TX.
Funeral service: 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 7, 2014 in Martin’s Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation: 3 – 5 p.m. Sunday, July 6, 2014 at the funeral home.
Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park in Fort Worth, following the funeral service.
She was preceded in death by a daughter,, Mae Ellen Poet; husband, Truman Whitfield and grandson, Larry Lloyd.
Alice was born in Waxahachie, TX and worked as a bookkeeper. She was a resident of Granbury at one time.
survivors: sons: Anthony and Dale Whitfield; daughters, Paula Lloyd and Joyce Hickey; twelve grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
