Allen Reid Cook, 60, passed away Friday, October 7, 2016.
Graveside service: 3:00 PM, Wednesday, October 19, 2016, Holly Hills Memorial Park.
Allen was born on October 5, 1956 in Gregg County, Texas to Rayford Leon and Judith Ann Grissom Cook. He served in the U.S. Navy and worked as a painter. God called for a musician and Allen answered. A true music and animal lover, the world has lost a most kind and generous soul. He will truly be missed.
Allen was preceded in death by his father, and his wife: Sherrel “Durant” Cook on August 4, 2016.
Allen is survived by friends Mike Burkes, Thomas, Carmen and Holly Clark, Ruben Salame and Daniel Salame.
