Alma J. Wells Willis, 80 of Granbury, went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 1, 2018. Celebration of Life will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Martin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Granbury, Texas. Visitation Noon to beginning of service. Chaplin Richard Pharr will officiate the service. She was born September 12, 1937 to the late Homer and Ethel Wells.
Alma married Benjamin F. Willis on July 13, 1959 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was a wonderful artist who studied all forms of art. She loved sewing, leather working, cake decorating and most of all showering love on her children, grand and great grand-children and nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her son Gerald James “Jerry” Willis of Lawton, OK and wife Carolyn; daughter Cristina F. “Tina” Willis of Granbury, TX; grandson Steven B. Willis of Canon City, CO; granddaughter Merritt H. Weingarten of Houston, TX; great grandchildren Grace M. Willis of Wichita Falls, TX; Ayden B. Willis of Broken Arrow, OK and Haley E. Weingarten of Houston, TX. Brother-in-law Tommy R. Stewart of Granbury, TX and multiple nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Retired Master Sargent Benjamin F. Willis and sister Wilma Faye “Sissy” Wells Stewart. She is an angel in Heaven who will be greatly missed here on earth!
