Alvin L. “Al” Graham, 80, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m Thursday, June 16, at North Fort Worth Baptist Church. Al will be laid to rest in Atwell Cemetery, Callahan County. The family will be present to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Al was born February 14, 1936, in Fort Worth. He spent four years in the Navy. He retired from American Cyanamid and Lockheed Martin. He was the former scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 147 and a member of Masonic Lodge 601 AF & AM. Al was active in his community volunteering with Casa Mañana, Concerts in the Gardens, and the Grand Canyon North Rim. Al was a Master Gardener and member of the Benbrook YMCA.
Al was preceded in his death by his parents, Lafe and Ethel Graham, and a son, Reagan Kent.
Al is survived by his wife, Averil Graham; daughters, Rhonda Smith, Robin Chambers, and Renee Brandon; granddaughters, Peytie Chambers and Stephanie Quevedo; great-grandsons, Jay and Jake Brooks Quevedo; sister, Linda Sherman; brother-in-Law, Bill Sherman; nieces, Kimberly Sudderth and Kristy Neystel; sons-in-law, Brad Smith, Dr. Bill Chambers, and Glenn Brandon.
