GRANBURY — Andrew H. “Jack” Thomas, 94, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2012 in Granbury. Service: Will be held at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale, Ark.
Jack was born May 26, 1918 in Yale, Okla. to Morris Everette and Evie Mae Pierson Thomas. He was a long-time resident of Springdale, Ark. before recently moving to Granbury in Feb. 2012. He was devoted to his family. After 37 years as a long-haul truck driver, he retired from Jones Truck Lines. Jack was a founding member of Grace Lutheran Church of Lowell, Ark. He was a former Golden Gloves boxer and referee. He loved to fish and listen to music. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Faye “Sally” Thomas on April 16, 1997; his parents; siblings, Loretta, Raymond, J.D., Esco and Herschel Thomas.
Survivors: Siblings, Lorene Buchan, Wilma Jean Story, Gerald, Billy and Paul Thomas; daughter, Belva Jo Anderson of Coffeyville, Kan.; son, Lindell Thomas and wife, Elaine of Granbury; grandchildren, Heather Lin Thomas Hogan and husband, Shane, and Kyle Cassidy “K.C.” Anderson and wife, Brandi; and six great-grandchildren
