Andrew Roy Louis Hawkins, Jr. passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022. Service: 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 7, 2023, Granbury Baptist Church.
Bubba was born September 27, 1989 to Andrew Hawkins Sr and Kathy Kleen Hawkins. He passed away on December 29, 2022 at the young age of 33. Bubba got married to the love of his life, Haley on March 31, 2018. He was a graduate of Cherokee High School and wanted to follow in our Dads and our Uncles footsteps to become a mechanic. He graduated from Tarrant County College with a degree in Automotive Technology. He was working as a heavy diesel mechanic for Hampel Oil in Cresson Texas. He loved his job and his co-workers. He spent many years as a mechanic before realizing his true passion was for photography. His dream was to photograph wildlife and work for National Geographic. He became enrolled for his second degree in photography and was so proud of his new camera. Bubba loved watching movies with his loving wife, Haley and his cousins. He loved to mimic the movie characters and could do a very good job at it. He enjoyed making people laugh. Bubba also enjoyed the great outdoors with his cousins that he spent a lot of time with, Matt, Mark & Joseph. Bubba and Haley would travel down to his hometown of Llano Texas to visit family and friends that he loved. He always made sure to stop at the Cherokee cemetery to pay his respects to our Dad. He honored our parents on each forearm to show just how much he missed them and to always carry them with him. The love in his heart was unmeasurable. He was always so kind and compassionate to others. He was so full of life and love, but I know when he started walking them stairs to Heaven and reached the pearly gates, Dad & Mom were right there waiting.
Andrew is survived by his wife Haley Hawkins, his sisters Jamie Smith (Steven), Julie Reed, Brandy Howard & brother Katlan. Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins and a whole world full of friends.
Andrew is preceded in death by his father Andrew Hawkins Sr, his mother Kathy Kleen Hawkins, maternal grandfather Jamie Kleen, maternal grandmother Peggy Kleen, paternal grandfather Elton Hawkins & paternal grandmother Fay Hawkins.
I love you and miss you always – Sissy Jamie
