Ann Carol Cone 89, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on Thursday July 21, 2022.
Ann was born on February 23, 1933, to James & Trannie Sewell in Jacksonville, Texas. After High School Ann was married to, Joe and they moved to Fort Worth, Texas. Ann and her husband founded and later sold Azle Avenue Monument Company, Additionally, Ann owned salvage grocery and convenience stores for many years. Later in life, Ann was a top sales associate at Brumbaugh’s Furniture in the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards and eventually retired after 20 years… Ann was committed to her endeavors and successful in all due to her hard work and dedication.
Ann loved spending time with her family and friends, as well as her yorkie Elvis. Ann loved gardening, antiquing and conversations with her lifelong neighbors on Longhorn Trail. She loved people and had a genuine interest and concern for people. Her greatest joy in life was her role as a mother. She raised four boys and she was extremely proud of all they had accomplished. They truly were her pride and joy. One of her favorite bible verses was Proverbs 29:17, “Discipline your children and they will give you peace of mind and will make your heart glad.” Each son can attest Ann believed in discipline.
Her son Wendell Scott Cone, her parents, and multiple brothers and sisters predecease Ann. 3 sons, 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren survive her. They all loved her dearly.
SHE WILL BE MISSED.
