GRANBURY — Ann Marie Shoemaker Haring, 61, went home to her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at her Pecan Plantation home.
Service: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wiley Funeral Home. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be make to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
Ann was born Apr. 14, 1951, in Kilgore to Robert Vernon and Marjorie Lorraine Scott Shoemaker. She married Carl Haring on Oct. 19, 1974 in Granite Shoals. She was a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin. She enjoyed reading, movies, scuba diving, salt water fishing and water skiing.
Survivors: Husband, Carl Haring of Granbury; mother, Marjorie Shoemaker of Granbury; brother, Rock Shoemaker and wife, Sandra of Fort Worth; sisters, Margie Harris of Austin, Bobbie “Tyke” Smith and husband, Gary of Corpus Christi; nieces, Regan Burdette and husband, Cason of Fort Worth and Elizabeth Ford and husband, John of Cleburne; nephews, Carl Carter of Austin, Robert Carter and wife, Kerry of Austin, Mason Smith and wife, Angela of Austin and Ryan Shoemaker of Fort Worth; great nieces, Katie Ford and Kristina Harris; sisters-in-law, Carol Ann Hoelscher and Paula Diane Terry both of Rosebud, Mo.; brother-in-law, Dale Arthur Haring and wife, Vicki of St. Louis, Mo. and nieces and nephews-in-law, Kelly, Cristina, Sonia, Tommy and Brian.
