Anna Louise Emmons, born October 16, 1936, passed peacefully at her home, surrounded by loved ones, on March 5, 2017.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Friday, March 10, at Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Interment will be in Saginaw Cemetery. Visitation will be open hours on Thursday at Biggers Funeral Home.

Anna was born and raised in Herculaneum, Missouri. After graduating high school, Ann served in the Air Force for over 20 years, then settled in Saginaw after retiring. We will remember Ann for her giving spirit, serving the church and food bank, as well as her volunteer work at the local library and book club. Ann also enjoyed needlework and quilting.
Anna was loved by many extraordinary friends and neighbors who speak affectionately of her kind and generous nature.
Anna is survived by her loving husband, Boyd Emmons; children, Rod Emmons and Louann Packard; grandchildren, Jill Heaps and Jason and Bryce Packard; as well as several great-grandchildren. Also surviving Ann are her three sisters, Margie Files, Julia Neil, and Palmie Trask; brother James Courtway; sister-in-law Lucy Bridgewater; many devoted nieces and nephews.
