I know that, despite the fact that Lugene had been leaving all of you over these past years, there was no way to prepare any of you for this final goodbye. I know how proud she was of her family and how much she loved all of you, so I know you will have many memories to help you balance the sadness you all are feeling now. I believe that our loved ones are not ever completely gone until people stop talking about them and sharing stories - keep her in your hearts and never stop celebrating her life.
