Tony was born December 26, 1934, in San Francisco, California to Francis Ford and Anthony Morelli of Perugia, Italy. He attended Georgia Tech and received a degree in aeronautical engineering. He loved airplanes and spent his life designing and working with them. He was a designated engineering representative at Frakes Air, and also worked at Lockheed-Martin and Bell Hellicopter where he worked on the V-22 aircraft until he retired.
Tony was a member of the Mensa organization. He belonged to Tau Kappa Episilon Fraternity and to the Burbank Elks group. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth, member of the Twosome Class and enjoyed participating in social gatherings.
Tony owned a farm where he planted over a thousand pine trees from small saplings. His dream of these saplings becoming huge pines to give the land the shade it needed has become a reality: leaving a legacy of nature behind. He will be missed by many.
He is survived by his partner in life, Beverly Stringer and her family; son, Anthony Morelli and wife, Kathy; daughter, Liza Morelli-Salfeider; grandson, Warren; and granddaughter, Cassidy Lynn.
