Arthur R. Casper, 96, a retired farmer, passed away Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, in Fort Worth where he had lived for the past seven years with his daughter.
Graveside service: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Arthur was born May 17, 1915, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Cassius and Emma Casper. He was a longtime resident of Blackfoot, Idaho, before moving to Fort Worth in 2005. He served as a medic in the U.S. Army during World War II and was active in the Assemblies of God Church.
Survivors include his children, David Casper of Woodville, Wash., and Ruth Hatton and husband, John, of Fort Worth; brother, Harold Casper; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
