Barb Embree, 67, of Granbury, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2019. No services are planned at this time.
Barb was born on February 25, 1952 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Stanley and Nancy Willer. She received her bachelor’s degree from Franklin University in 1974. She worked as an accounts manager and an adjuster.
Barb married David G. Embree on October 25, 1975 in Columbus, Ohio. She was a very, very, loving wife and mother. We love and miss her from infinity and beyond.
Barb loved swimming, boating, and water skiing and she had a passion for helping and taking care of animals. She was preceded in death by her parents: Stan and Nancy, and her brother: Bill Willer.
Barb is survived by her husband of 44 years, Dave Embree, daughter: Jordan Nicole Embree, sister: Kelly Johnson, and brother: Jim Willer.

One day I meet Barb for lunch. She handed me a gift. It was a REAL red rose dipped in a glaze that made it forever look real. It was absolutely beautiful. I look at it now and think of Barb! I will cherish it forever. Barb was so special! There are no words. Except a beautiful forever rose frozen in time. I will always remember her positive way at looking at life. I will truly miss her.
