Fort Worth – Barbara Cline, a long time resident of the Dallas/Fort Worth area, passed on Sunday, October 15, 2017, at Texas Health Harris Alliance.
Services will be held at 2 p. m. on Friday, October 20, 2017, at Met Church, 11301 N. Riverside Dr., Ft. Worth, TX 76244.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Barbara’s name to the American Heart Association, The National Kidney Foundation, or the American Diabetes Association.
Barbara was born February 21, 1939 in Syracuse, NY. She lived in New York, California, and Texas. She worked in nursing and other various jobs, but none as important as being a homemaker taking care of her children.
Barbara loved reading, working on puzzles, watching movies and musicals, listening to music, enjoying good food in restaurants, traveling, keeping up with the Royal Family, and mostly spending time with family. Barbara was also a talented seamstress, sewing wedding dresses and tuxedos for neighbors and friends, as well as fashion show attire for her girls.
Survivors: She is survived by her daughters, Michelle Johnson, Julie Kaplan and husband, Richard, Andrea Schiele, and Carissa Carrera; as well as eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Judianne Shannon and husband, Tom; three nieces, and several grand-nieces and nephews.
