Barbara Hulsey

Barbara J. Hulsey, 75, of Rainbow passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2020. She will Lie in State from 12:00 Noon – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Wiley Funeral Home Chapel, Glen Rose. The family will greet friends from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at the funeral home. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at Squaw Creek Cemetery.
Barbara was born on January 21, 1945 in Glen Rose, Texas to Vance Wiggins and Geraldine Moss. She was a member of the Glen Rose High School class of 1963. She was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church.
Barbara was a loving wife, mother, friend, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She cherished the time she spent with her family.
Barbara was preceded in death by her father: Vance Wiggins, mother: Geraldine Moss, former husband: Charles Hulsey, brother: Gerald “Sonny” Wiggins, and sister: Vancine “Judy” Hulsey.
Barbara is survived by her husband: Kenneth “Woody” Wood, daughters: Marti Thomas and DeeDee Mihalchik, grandchildren: Kendall Maxedon, Drew Thomas, Miles Montgomery, Austin Montgomery, Aaron Thomas, Macall Brandenburger, Mason Wedel, and Shalyn Wedel, great-grandchildren: Brylee Montgomery, Michael Ross Brandenburger, Owen Montgomery, McKenna Brandenburger, Asher Montgomery, Johnse Montgomery, Shep Montgomery, Judah Montgomery, Madelyn Brandenburger, Shiloh Beth Montgomery, Isla Montgomery, Eliana Maxedon, Carly Montgomery, Elizabeth Maxedon, Tinsley Wedel – Riley, Olly Thomas and Tatum Thomas.
Barbara was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
