Beatrice Medley

Beatrice Eileen Frazier Medley was born in Van Buren, Missouri to Lulu and Walter Frazier on April 18th, 1926. She and her only sibling, Eugene, were both gifted musicians. They attended and received degrees from Central Methodist College where she met and married her great love and companion of 65 years Adam Paul Medley, Jr. Together they laughed, loved, sang and danced their way into the heart of everyone they met.
Bea taught elementary school and music for 20 years while still finding time to provide her two children, Valerie and Ronald, a wonderful childhood. Family and friends were their priority and, as educators, she and Paul had their summers free to travel and explore with their children, grandchildren and friends. There were many trips to various locations in Florida and countless days waterskiing and fishing at the Lake of the Ozarks. Later years found them on cruise ships bound for, in her words, ‘awesome!’ locations.
Beatrice was always a beautiful, kind and gracious lady who thrived on hosting family and social gatherings. She held several offices and sang in both her Methodist churches and in her community. She and Paul also spent endless hours playing all sorts of card and board games with everyone!
We all thank her for teaching us about the beauty in nature and in the hearts of mankind.
Survivors: Daughter Valerie Hibbeler (Richard); son Ronald Medley (Helen); grandchildren Ryan Hibbeler (Holly), Kelly Albus (Tanner), Jason Medley, Jennifer Pickett (Tim) and Jared Medley (Raelyn); great grandchildren: Isaac, Christopher, Corbin, Emma, Audra, Rowan, Timothy, Mya, Owen, Jaxson and Jameson.
