Granbury — Benjamin Franklin Jones, Jr., 84, of Granbury, Texas, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016.
Memorial Service: 9:30 a.m. Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury.
Interment: 1:30 p.m. at DFW National Cemetery.
Visitation: 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury.

Benjamin was born September 18, 1931 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. He was the son of the late Janie Lampkin and the late Benjamin Franklin Jones. He was married to Socorro Jones from Granbury. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Josephine Jones and brothers Richard and Samuel Jones.
Survivors: Wife: Socorro Jones; son, Benjamin Franklin (Carter) Jones, III ; daughters: Cynthia Jones, Janie (Philip) Sloop; step-son, Ulises (Jenny) Salazar; step-daughters, Nancy Rodriguez and Jasmine (Heriberto) Garcia; grandsons, Neil and (Emily) Andrews; Benjamin Franklin Jones, IV, Halzton Salazar, Hunter Salazar and Max Garcia; granddaughters, Jennifer Haynes and fiancée, Steven, Rebecca Jones, Anna Grace Sloop, Haley Salazar, Cynthia Rodriguez, Jocelyn Castillo, and Diana and Carolina Garcia; great granddaughter, Dani Jo Andrews; and three great grandsons: Jacob Haynes, Joshua Fowlkes and Paige Andrews.
