GRANBURY — Bernice A. James, 99, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2012, in Granbury.
Funeral: 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2012, at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial: 1:30 p.m. Friday at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. James was born Apr. 7, 1913, in Webberville, Mich., to George and Florence Marindorf Young. She married Arthur James, May 25, 1931, and he preceded her in death on May 3, 1963. She had lived in Granbury since 1969. She enjoyed bowling and playing Canasta. She was always active in the churches where she lived. Also preceding her in death were her parents, one brother and three sisters.
Survivors: Son, Arnold James and wife, Lisa, of Weatherford; daughter, Betty Taylor and husband, Robert, of Granbury; grandchildren, Jeff and Sharon James, David James, Terry and Karen Taylor, Chris and Mascha Taylor, Janice and Stan Brewer; 10 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren and two more on the way.
