Betty E. Duke

Betty E. Duke, 65, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2012, in Azle.

Service: 2 p.m. Thursday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment: Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Duke was born in Coleman and had been an area resident since the late 1970s. She was a homemaker and seamstress. She enjoyed bird watching, making doll clothes for her granddaughter and playing board games with her grandson.

She is survived by: Her husband of 46 years, James Duke; children, Daniel Duke and wife, Paige, of Bedford, Wendy Duke Ayers and husband, Ric, of Azle and Kim Ubinger of Azle; sisters, Brenda Keeney McMurtray of Azle and Linda Keeney Butler of Port O’Connor; grandchildren, Amber Ubinger, Collin Duke, Alexandra Duke and Collin James “C.J.” Ayers; and a number of nieces and nephews.
