Betty was born December 6, 1934 in Granbury, Texas to Jack and Ila Faye McQueen, with whom she had a strong bond. She was adored by her husband, Robert Ross Tippett, who was her high school sweetheart. Betty loved spending time with her family, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a compassionate and selfless caregiver for many family members. She was loving and generous with her time. She enjoyed spoiling her family by taking them all out to big family dinners and vacations. She was a beautiful woman with a beautiful spirit.
Betty worked for 50 years for Lockheed Martin as a secretary. She loved her pets and her country home with 100 pecan trees. She also enjoyed shopping at Neiman Marcus. She was an active member of Granbury Church of Christ.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son; Robert Charles Tippett, and brother; Charles McQueen.
Betty is survived by her daughter; Debra Lawrence, grandchildren; Stacy Dredge and husband Simon, Sean Tippett and wife Amy, Justin Tippett and wife Oanh, great-grandchildren; Ashley Dredge, Hailey Dredge, Londyn Tippett, Brendan Tippett, Hannah Tippett, Fayeth Tippett, Gavin Tippett and Emily Tippett.
