Bettye Faye Matthews, 87, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017 in Fort Worth, her home town.  Graveside Service: 11 a.m. Monday, May 15 at Mount Olivet Cemetery.

 

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and homemaker. Mrs. Matthews was active in the Parent Teacher Association, and was a Protestant.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Buster L. Matthews, and a sister, Bobbie Ann Nay.

 

Survivors: Son, M.L. Matthews and wife, Janis; daughter, Deneen Davis and husband, Kevin; grandchildren, Paul Matthews and Leya Matthews Pattee; sisters, Carole Oldner, Sharon Allen and husband, Eugene; brother, Tommy Dudley and wife, Doloris Dudley; a number of nieces, nephews, and many friends.
