GRANBURY — Bill Carlton, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, in DeCordova, Texas.
Graveside Service: 2:00 PM Saturday, June 13, 2015, at Acton Cemetery, Acton, Texas
Bill was born May 27, 1927 to the late Carl and Ruth Carlton. He married Paula Mae Vaden on June 11, 1949 in Stamford, TX. He was a resident of Granbury for 26 years. Bill served in the U. S. Navy during World War II. He retired from Amoco Petroleum after 35 years. Bill was an avid golfer.
Survivors: wife of 66 years, Paula Carlton of DeCordova; sons, Kirk Carlton and wife, Kerry, of DeCordova, Paul and wife, Terri, of Stephenville; grandchildren, David and Sonya Carlton, Dane and Abby Carlton, Shaun Carlton, Christi and Jeff Stanfield; and Lyndsey & Robert Messman; 2 great grandchildren, Reagan and Keirstyn; and sister, Carla Young of Stamford.
