Billie Rainbolt Burch, 87, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2013, at home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 20, in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Private committal will be at Smithfield Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial gifts may be made in Billie’s name to North Central Texas Chapter of Alzheimer’s Association, 1630 West Freeway, Suite #100, Fort Worth, Texas 76102.
Billie K. Rainbolt was born in Waco to Auty and Birdie Strange Rainbolt on August 8, 1925. She graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1942. On November 9, 1945, Billie married Millard Maurice Burch in Fort Worth; Mr. Burch preceded her in death October 8, 1990. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Clark; and a grandson, Cory Redding.
Mrs. Burch worked at Panther City Oil Co. and Commercial Standard Insurance Co. and retired after 17 years with the Child Study Center in Fort Worth. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lakeside.
She is survived by her children, Michael B. Burch and wife, Barbara, and Patricia K. Redding and husband, Arthur; sister, Patsy Andrews; grandchildren, Rachel D. Burch and James Redding and wife, April; and great-grandchildren, Raina Redding and Scarlet Redding.
