Billy Joe... I knew Bill his last 6 months. But boy, we crammed so much time together. He was a very unexpected, huge change in my life, happy blessing from God. He loved the Lord, and his family. He was so proud to be part of the church band. I miss seeing him up on stage. He loved his family so much and looked forward to the family reunion every year. I was actually in “washer board” training for weeks before the reunion. He was so happy! I miss Bill so very much, but I see his happy face in heaven just as happy as can be playing his mandolin. See you soon! Bill is very much loved and missed

Billy Joe... I only had the honor of knowing Bill for his last 6 months. But, boy, did we cram a lot of fun and laughs in that short time. He loved the Lord first and foremost. And he loved his family. All of them. He looked forward to his family reunion every year. He also had the most wonderful sense of humor. That’s how we got together. He was cutting it up at High Nooners after playing the mandolin while Pastor Dan played guitar. He made me laugh so much that I had to introduce myself! He was a total unexpected blessing from God. And I’m blessed to have had him in my life I miss you, Billy Joe!

Daddy loved The Lord, Triple Cross Cowboy Church, playing the mandolin, fishing, the Berger Reunion & spending time with Family! My life has a very large empty spot with him not in it!

Bill was more brother than brother-in-law. He was much loved by our whole family. So much fun to be with, & when he & Jean got to telling stories we would all be rolling with laughter. I miss our family jam sessions so much, & can’t wait to be with all of them again.

We will all miss Bill’s beautiful mandolin playing in our band at Triple Cross, his sense of humor, and his strong biblical insights at bible study. He was a joy to be around. He is now in the presence of our Lord and reunited in Heaven with his cousin, Joe and other loved ones and friends. Rejoice and explore Heaven’s bounty until we meet again. Well done, sir!!

We will all miss Mr Bill playing his mandolin in our band at Triple Cross, as well as at our bible study. It was an honor to know such a devout and kind Christian man, whose sense of humor was a delight to all, as well. We know he is happy and healthy now in Heaven, and reunited with his cousin Joe and his other friends and loved ones there. The Lord welcomed him home, and we here are left to miss him. But we will see him again and hear his voice and music again. Rejoice and explore Heaven’s delights, Brother Bill, till we meet again!!

Bill was one of a kind. We met him at Triple Cross. We loved eating with him on Wednesday nights and then sitting by him at Bible study. He called our little girl "Miss Haggard" because she loved signing Merle Haggard songs. We will miss Bill but know we will see him again one day. -The Manders Family
