Bob Talbot, 73, of Granbury passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2020. Lie in state: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm, Sunday, July 12, 2020, Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury with the family greeting friends between 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at the funeral home. (Social distancing and masks required). Bob was born on November 3, 1946 in Fort Worth, Texas to Joe and Ruby Talbot. He graduated from Eastern Hills High School and played football at Texas Christian University.
Bob worked for the City of Fort Worth Water Department and he was a professional poker player, who played in The World Series of Poker Tournament. He created “Big Tex Poker Chat” and he had almost 2500 followers.
Bob married Diane on January 14, 1994 in Grapevine, Texas. He loved his family and his rescue bulldog, Tinkerbell. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Ruby Talbot and his son: Jeff Talbot.
Bob is survived by his wife of 26 years: Diane Talbot, son: Brian Allen Tucker and wife, Gloria Avitia, daughter: Karma Gordon, son: Bobby Joe Talbot and wife Donna, stepsister: Brenda Dunavin, eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
