Bobby McLellan passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2019. Memorial service: 2:00 PM, Friday, March 1, 2019, Wiley Funeral Home Chapel, Granbury.

Bobby spent his early years in Cross Plains, Texas prior to moving to North Side in Fort Worth, Texas, where he graduated from North Side High school. He served for seven years
in Saudi Arabia with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Bobby spent 37 years with the Corps retiring in 1999. From the years of 1962 until 1999, he helped build Canyon Dam, Summerville Dam, and Joe Pool Lake.

He married Sharon D. Molina in 1964. They lost their twins, Shannon Marie and Carl Dean in 1965. He was preceded in death by his parents, LB and Gladys Faye McLellan, and his
sisters, Francis Earls and Mary Hutchison.

Bobby loved to bowl and play bridge. His one regret is pulling up on his last ball which caused him to have a Score of 298 instead of the perfect 300 game.

Bobby leaves behind his wife of 54 years Sharon McLellan, Sons James Robert and wife Cheri McLellan, and Lane Baxter and wife Robby McLellan, eight grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren.

Bobby and Sharon both enjoyed playing duplicate at the Granbury Bridge Club. They were always pleasant opponents, played a good game, and will be sorely missed. If there are bridge tables in heaven, you can bet Bobby will be found there!

I remember Bobby In his Corps office workstation in Construction always friendly and had time to talk with me a younger engineer. No questions was a dumb question. I was glad to have known him and pray for the family especially Sharon who was also a great Corps person.
