Bonnie Galloway

Bonnie Faye Howard Galloway, found peace and comfort in the loving arms of our Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday September 8, 2019.

Services will be held at Martin’s Funeral Home Chapel, Granbury, at 12:00pm, Saturday, September 14, 2019. Visitation will be 11:00am, prior to service. Private Interment, in the Love Garden, Holly Hills Memorial Park, Granbury, Texas.

Bonnie was born on October 12, 1932, in Park Springs, Texas, near Decatur in Wise County, to parents Thomas Monta Howard and Martha Ann Worden Howard. She graduated as class Salutatorian in 1950 from Peaster High School.  Bonnie married Paul Robert Galloway on October 12, 1950 at York Avenue Baptist Church in Weatherford, Texas.  They raised four children, one son and three daughters.  Bonnie was preceded in death by husband Paul in 2016 and daughter Paula Kay Steel in 2015.

Bonnie has lived in Granbury, Texas for more than 20 years, where she was a Bookkeeper Tax Accountant, and with Paul they owned and operated a resale shop.

Bonnie is survived by daughter Gayle and husband Johnny Hightower of Canton, Texas; son, Dayle and wife Judy Galloway of Yakima, Washington; and daughter, Debbi Moseley of Denton, Texas.  She was known as Nana and greatly loved by 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Surviving siblings, include one brother, Eddie Howard of Waxahachie, Texas; two sisters, Billie Baker of Granbury, Texas, Effie and husband Carl Overton of Weatherford, Texas; sister-in-law, Kay Smith of Austin, Texas and numerous nephews, nieces and friends.
