Bonnie Jean Meriwether Allen went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on January 16, 2015.
Funeral service: Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015 in Martin’s Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation: 5 – 8:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 19, 2015 at the funeral home.
Interment: Holly Hills Memorial Park.
She was born on August 3, 1922 to Herman and Etta Meriwether in Neodesha, Kansas. Bonnie married her sweetheart, John B. Allen on June 8, 1941. She had many hobbies including sewing, quilting, painting and doll collecting.
She will be remembered for her strong faith and unconditional love of family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; daughter, Joan Allen; sisters, Wanda Meriwether and Darlene Ramsey and grandson, Steve Simko.
She is survived by; son, John J Allen and wife Peggy of Tolar; son, Terry L. Allen and wife Dianne of Odessa; daughter, Deborah J. Simko and husband, Bill of Wetumpka, Al; daughter, Claretta Janie Teague and husband Ron of Tolar; eleven grancdhildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
We will miss our loving Mother and Grandmother.
